Peter Krusko's response to winning the New Mexico MasterWorks 2010 competition:
"I am personally very happy to receive this award. And I am delighted a watercolor took the prize Best Of Show, coming as it did within an exhibition of oil painters, pastel artists, and watercolorists from New Mexico. In that regard I share the award with all my colleagues working in the medium."
