"Of all the galleries we have gone to, Gallery 822 has a nice, rustic, comfortable feel. Some galleries are sterile - if you go in with jeans, they hardly give you the time of day. We like the people, like the collection of artists they have, and the quality. They have really maintained a quality collection.” - B. Sacks, art collector
“I’m just rather impressed with the total layout and collection of pieces there … It’s a very attractive place to enjoy the art.” - B. Helwig, art collector

Located in the 200-year old Vigil home on upper Canyon
Road, Gallery 822 opened its doors March 1, 2004. This charming space
boasts ten foot high ceilings, hand-made double-adobe walls and beautifully
restored oak plank floors.
It is an enchanting space that links us to the present by the artwork
displayed within. We are located four doors above Geronimo's and three
doors above El Farol restaurants.
